CPEG will be fully online and FREE!

The Third International Symposium on Coupled Phenomena in Environmental Geotechnics (CPEG2020+1) will be held on October 20–21, 2021, via the Zoom platform, with waived registration fee. The program (pdf) for the online symposium is now available. About eighty papers from all over the world will be presented at the two-day event. Considering the time zones of the participants, the sessions have been divided into morning and evening hours as follows:

1. Morning hours in Japan time (9:00 AM–2:00 PM):
Participants residing in The Americas, Australasia and East Asia

2. Evening hours in Japan time (6:00 PM–11:00 PM):
Participants residing in Europe, Africa, Australasia, and entire Asia.

The papers will be published through JGSSP (Japanese Geotechnical Society Special Publication) prior to the symposium on October 12, with free access (no charge).

We are delighted to share with you that thanks to our generous sponsor, Obayashi Foundation, the registration fee for CPEG2020+1 has been waived for all participants! We will soon be publishing the registration form required to access all sessions on our website (www.cpeg2020.org). The registration process, albeit free, will be compulsory for all participants, presenters and attendees, since the Zoom link will be sent only to the registrants. Please keep visiting our website regularly as we will keep you informed about the registration process there.

Thank you for your patience during these uncertain times, as we have adapted our symposium to be still the best place to share your research on coupled phenomena on environmental geotechnics. The quality of the submitted works helps us predict a fantastic event, and we are looking forward to it.

We hope to see you all (virtually) on October 20–21, 2021!
